Varsity Alumni weekend is nearly here! The OURAA wishes the OU Roses the best of luck in their nationals qualifier next weekend–we’re proud of you and will beat you next year!
Here are final details for VA weekend and a few other updates, including the Pitch Clean Up Day this Saturday (3/7):
- Friday, March 13:
o Pickleball with OURAA members, 1-3pm at the Westwood Indoor Tennis Center, 2420 Westport Dr., Norman.
o Hall of Fame Banquet, 6pm at the Sam Noble Natural History Museum. Tickets are $75 per person for alumni and $50 for players. Door prizes available. Get yours today: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=ZW7X7KLWP3JUC

- Saturday, March 14:
o RSVP BY 3/10: OURAA Brunch at Press & Plow in Norman, 10am-11:30am. Join OURAA members to mix and mingle before the VA game. RSVP to Laura or Rachel by COB on Tuesday, March 10 so we can let the restaurant know.
o Varsity Alumni Matches, 12pm for the men and 1:30pm “prom dress” booger for the women at the pitch. Yes, prom dresses.
o Post match fun at the clubhouse and cornhole tournament ($20 entry fee) benefitting the OU Roses, 3 – 6pm
o Hosty night at The Deli, 9pm
- Sunday, March 15:
o Tarzan boot hanging at the clubhouse, 10am-12:30pm. Bring a brunch dish to share as we celebrate the life and legacy of Tarzan.We will head to the pitch afterwards to spread his ashes.
Join the Rugby Working Day on March 7
Join the OU rugby community for a pitch clean up day this Saturday, March 7 at 9:00am.Volunteers needed to help clean out storage sheds, refurbish sleds, landscape, and other tasks as needed. If available, please contact Twendy at 832-656-5003. Thank you!
