The OU Roses Alumni Association (OURAA) is all about building a close-knit community of former players, coaches, and supporters. Our mission is to keep the connection strong between past and present Roses while raising awareness and boosting participation. We’re here to encourage volunteerism and spark a spirit of giving back to OURFC.
We strive to create a positive relationship between alumni and current student-athletes, working together to uphold the spirit and traditions of OU Roses RFC.
Our main goals are to:
- Provide Financial Support: Help cover costs for travel, dues, equipment, kits, and professional development through initiatives like the Sooner Connect Endowed Scholarship.
- Advise and Conduct Activities: Enhance players’ skills on and off the field with recruiting incentives, scholarships, and employment/mentorship connections.
- Maintain an Information Hub: Keep alumni contact info updated, publish an alumni newsletter, and maintain a strong social media presence to keep everyone connected.
